Initiated by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of EAA and UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate, and adopted by the United Nations, International Day to Protect Education from Attack was established earlier this year and will be observed annually on 9 September to call attention to the challenges facing over 75 million 3-to-18-year-olds living in 35 crisis-affected countries, and their lack of educational support.
