Brand Message
We are proud of our history, and since the first bake of our heritage granola product in 2003, we have been passionate about healthy living and wholesome foods. Our mission has been to create nutritious cereals that bring positive benefits to the bodies and minds of our customers, making them feel a whole lot better. Our original recipes were created by our founders, Dr Mick Shaw and his wife, Lizi. A pair with a zest for life, these true foodies brought together their knowledge of organic farming and science and a love for wholesome, nutritious food. Keen to promote natural foods and a sense of wellbeing prompted by eating good food, Mick and Lizi started to research the role of carbohydrates in food and the body. Their work led them to learn that blood sugar levels were impacted by Glycaemic Load (GL), causing energy peaks and dips, and they decided this was going to be an important measure in their granola products.
