Ahlia Star Anise 100g

An exotic, aromatic spice from Vietnam. It is known for its amazing aroma and delicate licorice like taste. Popularly used in Asian cuisine, especially in 5 spice mixes. Almost all Chinese dishes use star anise for preparation.. Pair star anise brilliantly with tomatoes. This licorice like flavor actually bears a close resemblance to fennel and basil, the classic companion to tomatoes.
